This Privacy Policy explains how OttoPort collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, APIs, command-line tools, Model Context Protocol server, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Information we collect
We collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, and profile image; billing information supplied to our payment processor; and technical information such as IP address, browser or device details, log data, API key metadata, request timing, model selection, and usage records. We also process the prompts, files, and other content you submit, along with generated outputs, to provide the Services.
2. How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the Services, authenticate users, process payments, provide support, measure usage, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve reliability and performance. We do not sell personal information.
3. How we share information
We share information with service providers that help us run the Services, including cloud infrastructure, authentication, payment, analytics, and model providers. Model providers may process your requests to generate a response. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
4. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the purpose of processing, and applicable law.
5. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your API keys and account credentials confidential.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at privacy@ottoport.ai. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
7. International processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from your local laws. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Your continued use of the Services after an update takes effect is subject to the revised Policy.
